Extraordinary Stories of Ordinary Life

Support Radio Diaries

The past two years have been the most productive in Radio Dairies history. We became a founding member of Radiotopia, a collective of the best story-telling driven podcasts on the planet. We produced stories for This American Life, Audio Histories for NPR’s All Things Considered and made the Radio Diaries podcast biweekly. We hosted live events in New York, Chicago, Washington D.C. and received the 2014 Third Coast International Festival’s Gold Prize for Melissa’s Story. This was all, in large part, thanks to support from people like you. We hope we can keep the momentum going into 2015, but we need your help. NPR only provides 10 percent of our production budget, so we greatly rely on donations from foundations and individual donors. Radio Diaries is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and your contribution is tax-deductible. Your donation, no matter what size, helps us do our work. Here are just a few projects we have planned for 2015:

♦ Majd’s Diary: Behind the Burqa, the diary of a girl in Saudi Arabia

Thornwell’s Diary: Thirty-Three In, One Out, the story of a man documenting his first year out of prison after serving 33 years for attempted murder
Working: Then & Now, a five part series we’re producing in partnership with Project& and
The Studs Terkel Archive/WFMU
♦ This year we started producing our podcast biweekly, we’re looking forward to keeping this up in 2015
♦ More live events, hopefully in a city near you
