Recent News:
Mandela: An Audio History was broadcast on the Xhosa, Zulu, Indian and English community radio stations in South Africa.

CDs of the broadcast are being introduced to schools in South Africa as part of the Mandela Schools Initiative.

The series will be broadcast again in the U.S. for Black History Month through Public Radio International.

Past Broadcasts:
The series premiered on National Public Radio's All Things Considered April 26-30, and was later broadcast in South Africa on SABC May 9 and 16, 2004. American RadioWorks broadcast a one-hour special this past summer.

Other News:
Allister Sparks' book, Beyond the Miracle: Inside the New South Africa , has just been published in the U.S. It is a must-read for anyone wanting to learn more about post-apartheid politics.
