Don’t Look Back: Stories from the Teenage Years is a special show we’re putting on with The Moth at Brooklyn’s Harvey Theater on May 6 at 8:30 PM.  The evening will be hosted by actor and author Molly Ringwald and features Rookie magazine founder and actor Tavi Gevinson, Sierra Leonean writer Ishmael Beah (A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier), a student from The Moth’s High School StorySLAM program, plus two of our own former Teenage Diarists. The show is part of BAM and WNYC’s RadioLoveFest. It’s going to be really good.

Since its launch in 1997, The Moth has presented thousands of stories, told live and without notes, to standing-room-only crowds worldwide. Each show starts with a theme and programs are renowned for the wide range of human experience they showcase. Don’t Look Back: Stories from the Teenage Years, will explore the exquisite anguish of the adolescent experience.
