A lot of life happens in 16 years.

On May 6 at 7:30 PM, join Ira Glass of This American Life and Joe Richman of Radio Diaries in a special live multimedia event at BAM’s Fishman Space to kick off our new series, Teenage Diaries Revisited.

16 years ago, we gave a group of teenagers around the country tape recorders and asked them to document their lives for our NPR series, Teenage Diaries.   This May, the group will be back on NPR with a brand new series of stories about their lives now. And on May 6 at BAM, the diarists Amanda, Josh and Melissa will be at BAM with Ira and Joe to present sneak previews of their new stories.

Tickets will go on sale in April at the BAM box office, and we expect them to sell out quickly. General admission price is $20. We are also offering a limited number of $150 tickets that also get you into a VIP pre-show mixer with Ira Glass and the diarists in BAM’s Fishman Lobby from 6-7 PM before the show. Come celebrate the new series with us while drinking wine and eating delicious food!

We hope to see you at BAM!
